Greening Our World: A Sustainable Plantation Initiative
“Greening Our World,” an inspiring plantation project dedicated to environmental preservation and community well-being. Our mission is to create a sustainable and eco-friendly initiative that not only enhances local biodiversity but also combats climate change for a greener future.
Our Purpose:
The purpose of this project is to establish a diverse and indigenous plant ecosystem in our community. By planting local species of trees in carefully selected locations, we aim to contribute to local biodiversity, combat climate change, and promote overall well-being.
Collaborative Efforts:
Rüva Foundation has joined hands with esteemed partners such as the National Security Guards (NSG) and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) for the Carbon Neutrality Project. This collaboration encompasses tree plantation, water management, and waste management initiatives.
Our Initiatives:
- Tree Plantation: We are dedicated to planting local species of trees in areas where they can thrive naturally or with minimal intervention. Through recurring corporate volunteering projects, we aim to plant over one million trees.
- Waste Management: Our commitment extends to managing waste responsibly. Through waste management projects, we collect plastic and other waste materials, recycling them to minimize environmental impact.
- Percolating pits, Clean up drives and Recycling
Our Approach:
We focus on planting a variety of native species suited to the local climate and soil conditions. By establishing an indigenous plant ecosystem, we promote resilience and sustainability within our community.
