History
Ruva Foundation’s journey began in 2003, when Mr. Saravan Stanley, driven by
compassion and a deep sense of responsibility, set out to make a difference in the lives
of those in need. What started as a small effort to support vulnerable communities soon
grew into a movement of hope and transformation.
In its early days, the foundation reached out to people in crisis—offering medical aid,
supporting education, and standing beside families during their most difficult times.
With every life touched, the mission grew stronger, inspiring many to join hands in
creating change.
As the years passed, Ruva Foundation expanded its vision, recognizing that true change
comes through sustainable development. By investing in education, empowering
children , youth, and supporting communities, the organization began shaping brighter
futures and breaking cycles of poverty.
Today, the impact of Ruva Foundation is seen in countless transformed lives and
stronger communities. From immediate relief to long-term solutions, the journey
continues with the same passion and purpose. Guided by the vision of its founder, the
foundation moves forward—spreading hope, empowering lives, and building a future
where everyone has the chance to rise and thrive.
Life Journey of Our Founder, Dr. Saravan Stanley
Dr. Saravan Stanley’s life is not a story that began in comfort, but one that rose from deep pain and silent struggles. As a child, he did not experience the warmth of security, the joy of education, or the guidance that many take for granted; while other children walked into classrooms, he stood outside, watching a world that seemed out of reach. With no formal schooling, life itself became his greatest teacher—every hardship shaping his character, every rejection building his strength, and every moment of loneliness awakening a deep sense of compassion within him. He knew what it meant to be hungry, not just for food, but for love, care, and belonging; yet even in his scarcity, he chose to share, proving that true humanity is not born in abundance, but in suffering. Instead of allowing pain to define him, he transformed it into purpose, making a life-changing decision that no child should ever endure the struggles he faced. From that vision, Ruva Foundation was born—not built on wealth or resources, but on unwavering faith, sacrifice, and unconditional love. What began as a small step soon became a sanctuary for orphaned and underprivileged children, a place where the forgotten found family, where broken lives found healing, and where hopeless hearts discovered a future. Supported by a few true friends who believed in his mission, he built not just an organization, but a home filled with dignity and care. Today, he is not just a founder or a leader; he is ‘Appa’—a father to the fatherless, a protector to the vulnerable, and a guiding light to those who once had no direction. His life is not measured by recognition or awards, but by the thousands of lives he has touched, the smiles he has restored, and the futures he has rebuilt. To the world, he stands as a selfless leader and a living example of love and humanity, but to those whose lives he transformed, he is far more— he is their protector, their guide, their hero, the one who gave them a life when they had none.
